Hey community! Today, we’re going to figure out how Microsoft Copilot Studio makes chatbots awesome with Actions, Topics, and Conversation Boosting. I’ve been playing with this to build my SightSpeak AI chatbot, and I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned. So, let’s get started!
What Are These Chatbot Tools?
Imagine your chatbot as a helper on your website. Copilot Studio gives it special tools to chat better and do more. Here’s what they are in my words:
- Actions: These are fun jobs your chatbot can do, like sending an email or helping someone fast. It’s like giving your helper a little task!
- Topics: These are easy chat paths, like fun stories you teach your chatbot, like “What’s this all about?”
- Conversation Boosting: This is a magic trick—it uses your website info to answer tricky questions, even if you didn’t plan for them!
Ready to see how they work? Let’s see!
1. Actions: Helping My Chatbot Do Cool Jobs!
It's make my chatbot a helper. I used this to help people with SightSpeak AI support.
- How It Works: I set up an Action where someone says, “I need help with SightSpeak,” and the chatbot asks for their email and question. Then, it sends an email to my team. I used Power Automate to make this—it’s like a fun guide for tech tasks! I linked it to Copilot Studio, and it worked like magic!
2. Topics: Teaching My Chatbot to Chat Like a Friend!
It's guide my chatbot to give good answers. I used this for SightSpeak AI info.
- How It Works: I made a Topic called “SightSpeak Features.” When someone asks, “What can SightSpeak do?” it says, “SightSpeak reads images with visual recognition—cool, huh?” I added words like “features” or “what it does” to start it. I used a neat tool called Generative Answers to grab more from site. If they want more, it asks, “Want to hear fun things it can do?”
3. Conversation Boosting: My Chatbot’s Magic Answer Helper!
It's saves the day with surprise questions. I used this with SightSpeak AI.
- How It Works: Conversation Boosting uses it to answer things like, “How does SightSpeak save time?” It’s already in Copilot Studio as a backup chat. I played with settings to use my site and tested it with silly questions. Thanks for reading, More awesome blogs are on the way with SightSpeak AI, so stay tuned for what’s next!
